I tried to write formulas (part 2).
<Simple Harmonic Oscillation>
Newton's equation of motion in one-dimension is described as below.
\begin{eqnarray} m\frac{d^2x}{dt^2} &=& F \end{eqnarray}
Here, we assume the situation that the point mass is connected to the spring, the constant is expressed by k. Then, the equation is as follows.
\begin{eqnarray} m\frac{d^2x}{dt^2}&=&-kx \end{eqnarray}
This equation can be solved as below.
\begin{eqnarray} m\frac{d^2}{dt^2}x+kx &=& 0\\ \frac{d^2}{dt^2}x+\frac{k}{m}x&=& 0 \\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+\frac{k}{m}\biggr)x&=& 0\\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0\biggl(\because \omega {\equiv} \sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}\biggr) \\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+i\omega\frac{d}{dt}-i\omega\frac{d}{dt}+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0 \end{eqnarray}
Moreover, the upper formula can be deformed as follows, because the differential operator and the constant multiplication operator are commutative.
\begin{eqnarray}\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+i\omega\frac{d}{dt}+\frac{d}{dt}(-i\omega)+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0 \\\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}+i\omega\biggr)\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}-i\omega\biggr)x&=& 0 \end{eqnarray}
Therefore, the equation can be solved as below with the use of arbitrary constants A and B.
\begin{eqnarray}x(t)&=&Ae^{-i\omega t}+Be^{i\omega t}\end{eqnarray}
Here, the solution can be expressed as follows, when we use Euler's formula
( ).
\begin{eqnarray} x(t)&=&Ae^{-i\omega t}+Be^{i\omega t} \\&=&A({\rm cos}\omega t-i{\rm sin}\omega t)+B({\rm cos}\omega t+i{\rm sin}\omega t) \\&=&(A+B){\rm cos}\omega t-i(A-B){\rm sin}\omega t \\&=&\alpha{\rm cos}\omega t+\beta{\rm sin}\omega t (\because \alpha{\equiv}A+B, \beta{\equiv}-i(A-B)) \end{eqnarray}
<単振動>
\begin{eqnarray}m\frac{d^2x}{dt^2} &=& F \end{eqnarray}
ここで、バネ定数kのバネに質点がつながれている状況を想定します。このとき運動方程式は下記の通りです。
\begin{eqnarray}m\frac{d^2x}{dt^2}&=&-kx\end{eqnarray}
この方程式は次のように解くことができます。
\begin{eqnarray} m\frac{d^2}{dt^2}x+kx &=& 0\\ \frac{d^2}{dt^2}x+\frac{k}{m}x&=& 0 \\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+\frac{k}{m}\biggr)x&=& 0\\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0\biggl(\because \omega {\equiv} \sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}\biggr) \\\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+i\omega\frac{d}{dt}-i\omega\frac{d}{dt}+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0 \end{eqnarray}
さらに、微分演算子と定数倍演算子が互いに可換であることから、上式は次のように変形することができます。
\begin{eqnarray}\biggl(\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}\biggr)^2+i\omega\frac{d}{dt}+\frac{d}{dt}(-i\omega)+\omega^2\biggr)x&=& 0 \\\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}+i\omega\biggr)\biggl(\frac{d}{dt}-i\omega\biggr)x&=& 0 \end{eqnarray}
従って、任意定数A, Bを用いて方程式は次のように解くことができます。
\begin{eqnarray}x(t)&=&Ae^{-i\omega t}+Be^{i\omega t}\end{eqnarray}
ここで、オイラーの公式 () を用いると、解は下記のように表現することができます。
\begin{eqnarray} x(t)&=&Ae^{-i\omega t}+Be^{i\omega t} \\&=&A({\rm cos}\omega t-i{\rm sin}\omega t)+B({\rm cos}\omega t+i{\rm sin}\omega t) \\&=&(A+B){\rm cos}\omega t-i(A-B){\rm sin}\omega t \\&=&\alpha{\rm cos}\omega t+\beta{\rm sin}\omega t (\because \alpha{\equiv}A+B, \beta{\equiv}-i(A-B)) \end{eqnarray}
